Taking it to the Streets

Round 2 2005-2006

Project Number ESF/0304/364

Dossier Number 364

Project Description

The aim of this project is to execute an innovative project that
brings 50 individuals from priority groups into learning through
the use of digital and broadcast media and then support them in
developing Skills for Life through contextualised learning
We will do this by:

Identifying existing material/training programmes suitable for contextualisation.

Work with local community groups and identify community assets that can be produced in the project

Produce sets of support material for contextualised Skills for Life

Recruit 50 beneficiaries from the target groups

Complete training and "publish" the community assets created by the beneficiary groups

26 beneficiaries will achieve a qualification

Produce a project evaluation (including guidance on mainstreaming) and disseminate this information
