The activities at each stage will be:
a) The LCC/TUC Learning Services will organise an initial briefing for tutors/mentors. This will provide an opportunity for them to exchange experience.
b) We will then develop a learning plan and support managers through a learning programme, via a model which will allow Learning Representatives to receive support in identifying their own skills holdings and skills needs, the learning required to meet these and learning opportunities through achieving them.
Identify a learning pathway through this, and developing a relationship between past, present and future learning.
- Maintain a learning log, which (given it records their own learning) also acts as a performance support tool.
Receive support in identifying/gaining accreditation for what has/will be learnt and to use this as a benchmarking tool and to plan future learning.
The learning plan will be carried out on a 1-1 basis in the workplace.
c) We will also work with each Learner Rep on a continuing learning plan, and how this can be supported.
